Birmingham’s favourite independent Christmas fair and family day out, Digmas, returns to the Custard Factory on Saturday 25th November from 11am to 5pm.
The unmissable annual FREE event in Digbeth will feature Santa’s Grotto, an indoor gift market, entertainment, delicious street food, festive family activities…and MUCH MORE!
INDOOR GIFT MARKET
The indoor gift market, with 60 craft stalls from Paperdolls Handmade, is a creative alternative to the high street. The hand-picked selection of arts and crafts will include prints, ceramics, pottery, tasty treats, jewellery, macramé, lamps, and lots of inspirational gift ideas from the UK’s leading designer makers…perfectly timed for the run-up to Christmas!

LIVE MUSIC & STORY TELLING
They’ll be live music and storytelling to keep the whole family entertained:
Dizney Rascal – the festival favourites will mash-up your favourite Disney songs and sing-along anthems. Dressed in full costume and with plenty of Disney trivia and audience interaction thrown in, this tongue & cheek performance is a must for any fan!
The Miss Fortunes – Midlands-based retro harmony outfit who bring a little cheeky sass to every performance! For this one off Digmas special Miss Fortunes will perform Christmas classics and vintage & modern hits.
Pyn Stockman and Ann Jones – the storyteller and musician have teamed-up for a free interactive storytelling adventure at Digmas. There will be a rich mix of mythical beasts, wild sea voyages and wonder filled tales. This interactive storytelling performance will use a range of props, puppets, masks and music and is suitable for ages 6+ and their families. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Mockingbird Cinema & Kitchen will also be running a mulled wine/cider bar in the Courtyard to help get you in the seasonal spirit!
‘The Elves’ Workshop’ run by Chitty’s Cakes will have festive cake/biscuit decorating throughout the day! Yummy. Our resident cake shop are offering a choice of ‘decorate your own’ options – festive cupcakes or Christmas tree biscuits. £2.50 for each one or £4 if a child wants to do both a cupcake and a biscuit.
Fun family-friendly craft workshops will be also available for £3.00 per adult, £1.00 per child. These activities are as followed…
12.30pm: Christmas card collage
The session, run by the talented Zarina Keyani, is to encourage children and adults to create using collage and drawing. Age range 3 years and above with supervision.
2.00pm: Create a corsage for your buttonhole or wrist
The session by Floralique & Co is designed to encourage adults and children in the use of flowers to create. Age range 6 years and above with supervision.
3.30pm: Finger puppet making – Make a snowman, Santa, snow monster
Zarina Keyani returns to encourage children to stitch and create! Age range 8 years and above with supervision. Stitches used are running stitch. Children must be accompanied and supervised at all times by adult. All materials provided.
