Get a Grip launch new children’s ‘Colour Me In!’ t-shirts

Get a Grip have launched their most exciting product yet – toddler and kids t-shirts to colour in!

They are available in ages 3-11 in a choice to two designs – mermaid and pirate. The t-shirts are handmade and available in store or at the online shop.

Distorted Poetry launch new iPhone game – ‘Petri Dash’

distorted poetry logoDevelopers Distorted Poetry have been at the Custard Factory since September and have just released their first game for the iPhone, called ‘Petri Dash’. It is an addictive score attack game set in a petri dish, where you control a hungry amobea to avoid or attack enemies.

It is available to buy from the iTunes store here. You can also download a free version with in-game adverts here.

 

 

 

 

 

Tickets almost sold out for YEP Media’s bloggers collective workshop!

YEP Media is launching the first of its seven ‘Bloggers Collective’ workshops on Wednesday 30th November, and tickets are almost sold out for the first event so if you’re interested, get booking!

Bloggers Collective will be a support network for independent blogging practitioners and/or online media producers who want to develop and promote their media platforms. It is also a chance to network with like-minded producers.

Punch Records presents: Is the Studio Dead? 7th December

Punch Records are hosting a free event at Oxygen Studios on the 7th December to discuss the role and future of recording studios. The topics covered include:

  • What is the use of the studio?
  • How can it be utilised to its maximum potential?
  • Has there been a decrease in its function due to new technology?
  • Can everyone be a producer in the current climate?

Confirmed panellists include Preditah (Producer), Joseph ‘JP’ Patterson (Music Journalist), Dave Drapper (Producer), Elay (Drummer) and the discussion will be chaired by Ben Ryan of ’Bigga Fish’.
