Festivities will begin at 11:30 tomorrow (5.12.15).
Our lovely Reindeer will be dropping Mr and Mrs Claus off at 11:20, so the grotto will be opening its doors at 11:30 on the dot. Little ones are invited to come and tell Santa what they would like for Christmas throughout the day free of charge. The Grotto is located next to The Mockingbird Theatre.
After a quick rest, our reindeer will be in his pen from midday until 4pm, he will be quite hungry after his trip from the North Pole, so be sure to pop along and feed him with the help of Mrs Claus and her trust Elf.
After you have visited Santa and fed his handsome Reindeer, there will be free Christmas films shown in Market Hall (the first showing will be at 1pm, second showing at 4pm) and The Mockingbird Theatre, so you can snuggle up and watch a Christmas classic.
Creative little ones are also invited to draw on our giant blackboard in Market Hall, we can’t wait to see their artistic skill.
If you are feeling a little peckish there will be a host of tasty treats available along Gibb Street for you to try, including indian fusion street food and pancakes. To get you into the festive spirit Hartley voices will be serenading visitors with festive carols and The Glamophones will be singing their favourite retro tunes.
If you are looking for the perfect gift then Digmas is definitely the place to find it. With over 100 independent stalls selling everything from antique furniture to Christmas cards and Christmas pudding. The Etsy local team will be selling homemade, handcrafted goodies made within a 20 mile radius of the Custard Factory. B2B Antiques Fair will also be showing their wide range of vintage goodies, with live retro singers and a vintage tea room, vintage enthusiasts are sure to feel at home. This Saturday is Small Business Saturday, so we encourage you to support all of the lovely local businesses that will be attending Digmas!
